Morning Announcements! TODAY IS A BLUE DAY! A reminder to all students - check your tags first period - there will be NO PASSES allowed during TL for the foreseeable future! OHS Music Department presents their first ever Pops Concert, Monday, March 30th at 6:00 PM! Free admission - donation accepted! Featuring performances by the Concert Choir, Chamber Choir and Concert Band - and featuring songs by Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars and more! SENIORS!- The Rotary scholarship deadline is fast approaching! The application must be in their hands on April 1st. So don't pop it in the mail a day or two before. You can bring the application to guidance no later than 1:30 p.m. on March 31st. And someone from the Rotary will come to pick them up. SENIORS - Photos for the Inspiration Slideshow were due last Friday! We NEED at least 5-6 photos of you for the Senior Inspiration Slideshow TODAY! We would like to make sure all of our Seniors are celebrated! Please take a few moments to make this happen and email Mrs. Whytock in the office! Please help us spread the word! Let the OHS Sophomore Class help make your Easter a bit easier with their Pre-Filled Easter Egg Fundraiser! Only $1/egg! Order by March 31st - Pickup on April 3rd! We will have 3 FIRST PLACE AWARDS! Join us on stage or bring in a piece of art to display! The stage will be open to the Oceanside community to have a great time! Ryan Moody will be our backing band! Comedian Emily our MC! And…we will have some awesome judges! Sign up in the office or see Ms. Mason or Ms. Wadsworth to sign up or for more information! OHS Spring Sports Practice Schedules start Monday, March 30th. Practices will be mostly indoors - gym, halls, cafeteria and once able to go outside, please dress appropriately! Make sure you have a current physical on file with the office! Baseball: 6:00-8:00 PM Softball: 3:30-5:00 PM Girls & Boys Tennis: 2:15-3:30 PM Track & Field at OHS: 2:30-4:00 PM Sailing at the Apprentice Shop Did you know that May is National Mental Health Awareness Month? Oceanside is getting ready to celebrate, share and support mental health during May and we want student involvement! There will be a meeting on March 31st during TL in the cafeteria to discuss and plan for May. If you are curious or interested in joining this event, please see Dr. Rebecca Roveto, our school social worker for more information. Looking forward to seeing you on March 31st! Come see our school social worker, Rebecca Roveto in Student Services to get signed up! March is Music in Our Schools Month, and this year's theme is United Through Music! Check out the table in the hallway across from the cafeteria to get involved - you can choose which platform you grew up listening to music on, write your favorite genre of music on it, and we will hang them up in a way that displays how music unites us! Save the date for PROM 2026 on May 2nd at 7 PM. Tickets will go on sale towards the end of March - stay tuned!
